She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert McDaniel and Lenora Clark McDaniel; her husband James C. Knighton; and her siblings, James, T. J., Wayne, Charles McDaniel and Agnes McDaniel Warren Ruth.
She is survived by: her sisters, Eunice McDaniel Warren Chitry and Nora McDaniel Green; and her sisters-in-law, Dale Benson, Ann Fisher, Jean McCool and Nancy Allgood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
