He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hunter Wells of Columbus, MS; his son Willard Thomas "Chip" Wells of Byram, MS; his siblings, John E. Wells of Starkville, MS and Shirley Tennyson of New York, NY; and his grandchildren, Tyler Wells of Portland, OR and Ferrah Wells of Columbus, MS..
