She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father Harold Kennedy; her son Todd Peters; her grandchildren, Allyson Peters and Saylor Peters; her mother Mary Wilkins Kennedy; her brother Christopher Kennedy (Heidi); her husband Maury Ray Peters; and her brother Harold Wayne Kennedy.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
