She is survived by: her brother James Whitaker, Jr.; her husband Carl Howard; her children, Cindy Howard, Clancy Neal Howard and Carmen Howard of Brandon, MS; her sister Patty; and her siblings-in-law, William Avritt of Cleveland, MS and Mary Rutledge (Irvin) of Crystal Springs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
