He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob Hollingsworth and Annie Lee Hollingsworth; and his sister Lois Graham. He is survived by : his wife Marie Hollingsworth; his children, Gary Hollingsworth (Tracy), Holly Purifoy (Rusty), Sherry Walker (James), Danny Heflin (Debbie), Stan Heflin (Rhonda) and Dana Vance (Curtis); his grandchildren, Lindsey Hollingsworth (David), Rosalyn Muller (Joshua), Logan Walker, Brenna Price (Ron), Matthew Purifoy (Alicia), Amy Purifoy (Todd), Jesse Vance (Julie), Ashton Culpepper (Kiley), Todd McLelland (Jennifer) and Libby Culpepper (Jackie); his great grandchildren, Jayden Rivers, Westin Culpepper, Uriah-Kooper Culpepper, Darvol Hart, Rye Hart, Logan McLelland, Madison McLelland, Benjamin Price, Caitlyn Price, Andrew Price and Ella Purifoy; and his sisters, June Tobelman and Norma Kohl.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
