It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hicks of Diamondhead, Mississippi, born in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Wesley W. Hicks, Jr.; her parents, Victor Colson and Mae Adam Colson; her siblings, Victor Colson Jr., Curtis Colson and June Colson; and her sisters-in-law, Gerry Falcon (Peter) and Bonnie.
She is survived by : her children, Cheyenne Coates (Daniel), Cheryl Duke (James) and Kerry Hicks (Beverly); her grandchildren, Kelly Duke Mears, Jonathan Duke (Alex Stishanok), Aaron Coates and Amy Faulkenberry; her great grandchildren, Lexi Mears, Declan Mears, Jack Faulkenberry and Wesley Faulkenberry; her siblings, Gail McConnon (John) and Wayne Colson; her nieces, Colleen Howley (David), Susan Laird (Tony) and Vickie Theobold; and her pet Mingo. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 9:00 a. m. to 10:00 a. m., with the funeral service starting at 10:00 a. m. Due to COVID19 and per state guidelines, there will be limited seating for the visitation and service.
