He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward T. Suffern, Sr. and Gladys Brennan Suffern; his sister Anne Suffern Bernard; and his great-nephew Timothy "Tripp" Verret Burns, III. He is survived by : his wife Diana Dubus Suffern; his children, Stuart Philip Suffern Jr. "Skip" and Sharon Elizabeth Suffern; and his siblings, Edward T. Suffern, Jr. (Patricia Hand Suffern), Patrick W. Suffern (Monique Morvant Suffern), Laura Suffern Burns (Timothy V. Burns), James B. Suffern (Kathryn Seymour Suffern), Meehan Suffern Murphy (Michael Murphy) and Matthew R. Suffern (Theresa Johnston Suffern). He is also survived by seven nephews; 5 nieces; and 1 grandnephew.
