He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Simmons and Lillian Simmons. He is survived by: his sister Laurie Hill (Bruce); and his sibling's children, Rachel Hill, Phaedra Deer (Shane), Eric Hill (Chelsea), Aubrey Hill (Angela) and Jordan Hill (Amy). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation.
