He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James and Inez Pinkerton Willingham; and his siblings, Mickey Willingham, Benny Willingham, Russell Willingham and Jessie Mae Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Waldrep Willingham of Drew, MS; his children, Cherry Roberts (Chuck) of Florence, MS, Georgia Blackwell (Bobby) of Drew, MS and James Lesley Willingham (Karina) of Boyton Beach, FL; and his sisters, Jean Peeples (Kelly) of Savannah, GA and Gracie Parker of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
