She was predeceased by : her parents, Eddie Louis and Lula Ruth Palmertree Boatman; and her siblings, Maxine Boatman Cummings, Lady Carol Boatman Howard, John Robert Boatman and Pete Boatman.

She is survived by : her sister Meredith McCain of Eupora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church Cemetery, 488 Hwy 413, Kilmichael, MS 39747.
