He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Boardman and Ida Boardman; his son Joe Boardman; and his siblings, Deloris Joiner, Kenneth Boardman, Opal Grace Boardman and Larry Boardman.
He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Boardman; his children, Lynn Boardman and Brenda Perry (Steve); his grandchildren, Aubrey McAdory and Jake Perry; his great grandchild Abel McAdory; and his siblings, Betty Harris, Carolyn Smith, Wayne Boardman (Glynn) and Rachel Kamper (James Robert).
The family requests memorials be made to Central Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
