It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mae L. Patrick of Escatawpa, Mississippi, born in Richton, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 100, on March 20, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Stinson and Lee Stinson; her husband Joe Patrick; her children, Joseph Harold Patrick, Sr. and Sue Ellen Patrick Henderson; and her siblings, Willy Bell Stinson Walley, Gertrude Carter, Emma Bozied, Ruth Gardner, Ruby Odom, Mary Clark, Mary Marigliano, Wayne Stinson and Lewis Stinson.

She is survived by : her former life partner Joseph Green Patrick; her children, Jerry Patrick (Barbara), Linda Scivicque, Shirley Schmitz (Terry) and Eddie Patrick (Shirley); her grandchildren, Marie Mullen (Ben), Sherry Gerald (Wyatt), Tim Prine (Ginger), Liza Patrick (David Roberts), C. J. Bennett (Ted), Joey Patrick (Kim Legendre), Richard Patrick (Andrea), Chris Vaughn (Donna), Brent Vaughn, Lance Vaughn, Kathleen Kirnie (Jamie), Terry Schmitz, Jr., Bryan Busby (Amy), Amanda Bond (Damian), Cassie Clark (Brian), Matthew Patrick (Ingrid), Amy Luton (Clay), Brecken Winslow (Brandon), Jennifer Rollins, Chris Cockrell and Wesley Cockrell; and her siblings, Dorothy Jay and Ralph Stinson (Marcelle). She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a strong lady even surviving COVID 19 and double pneumonia in July of 2020 at 100 years old.

Because MaMaw Mae spent most of her life feeding and providing a home to friends, family and to anyone in need, she chose Meals on Wheels as her charity of choice instead of gifts for her 100th birthday. We know she would want to continue that giving, and in lieu of flowers, you are invited to honor her by helping others by donating in her honor and memory to Meals on Wheels which provides meals to shut ins, especially the elderly.
