She was predeceased by: her mother Susan Palmer; her stepfather Jerry Palmer; and her sister Kathy Wilborn. She is survived by: her father Hugh Neel; her husband Melvin Bateman, Jr. of Florence; her children, Timothy Austin Bateman of Florence, Jessie Christopher Bateman of Florence and Holly Anna Bateman of Florence; and her siblings, Lloyd Terry of Vicksburg, Ben Eldridge of Braxton and Jean Nixon of Harrisville. She is also survived by her children, but to many other children.
