He was predeceased by : his parents, W. L. Byrd and Rachel Byrd. He is survived by : his children, Chris Byrd, Jr. and Teresa Renkenberger; his grandchildren, Carley Renkenberger and Carter Renkenberger; and his brother Charles Byrd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
