He is survived by: his wife Debbie Franklin Smolcich; his stepchildren, Miranda Nicole Crawford and Christopher Joseph Deal; his grandchildren, Justin Robert Stanhope and Luna Star Crawford; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Williams, Homer Lewis Franklin (Carol) and Paul Fredrick Findley III (Debby Theriot). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
