With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudia Mae Jackson of Gloster, Mississippi, who passed away on January 6, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Whittington and Dorothy Mae Whittington; her husband Lamar Jackson; her sisters, Hattie Bell Woodward, Barbara King and Dixie Hargon; and her grandson Rodney "Chip" Jackson Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Rodney Jackson, Mike Jackson and Brenda Jackson Ivey. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
