She was predeceased by : her parents, Vester Earl and Gladys Aline Jacks Daughety; her husband Samuel Vernon Montgomery; her children, Ann Carpenter and David Montgomery; her sisters, Brownie Nail, Edna Jenkins and Dorothy Noonan; and her grandson Chris Carpenter.

She is survived by : her daughter Patsy Bruce of Blackhawk; her brothers, Bill Daughety of Brandon and Jimmy Daughety of Raymond; her grandchildren, Tonya McClure (Joe), Michelle Shaw (Richard), Rob Carpenter (Andie) and Brandy Roden; her great grandchildren, Blair McKay, Natalie Jones, Whitney Shaw, Rylee Shaw, Hays Roden, Erin Embry (Matt), Rory Carpenter and Sam Carpenter; and her great great grandchildren, Jon Barrett McCay, Cullen McKay, London, Raylan Jones, Skyler Howe, Maddie and Audrey Embry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
