In the sacred silence of farewell, Frank Bennett is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Powers and Marie Vaughan Powers; and his sister Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Trude Chamberlain Powers of Greenville; his daughters, Melissa Wilkerson of Greenville, Dr. Katherine Vaughan Powers and Leigh Chamberlain Powers of Memphis; and his grandchildren, Jacob Ryan Wilkerson of Round Rock and Sara-Lamar Wilkerson of Memphis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
