She was predeceased by: her husband James Roy Montgomery; her parents, Gayden Sullivan and Alma Sillivan; and her siblings, Gordon, Calvin, Junior, Genevieve, Genella and Margie.

She is survived by: her children, James R. Montgomery, Jr. (Jimmy), Nelda Howerton of Pearl, MS and Patsy Poole (Britt) of Greenville, MS; her grandchildren, Clint Poole, Jennifer Montgomery Hanson (Matt), Lindsay Holden (Stephen) and Angie Hazzard (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Jules, Annie, Foster Hanson, Easton, Isla Montgomery, Hadley, Haven Holden, Logan, Micah, Mary Lauren and Chole Hazzard.
