She was predeceased by: her children, Star and Larry. She is survived by: her son Steve Tayala (Marianne); her grandchildren, Matthias Tayala and Kirsten Coonce; and her great grandchildren, Deklan, Remi, Berkley, Oakley and Tatum.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (1635 Carrollton Ave, Greenwood, MS 38930).
