It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benford McGarrity Jr. of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benford "Pete" McGarrity and Floy Kerr McGarrity; and his sister JoAnn Williams. He is survived by: his sisters, Dot Baker, Rose Wilson of Grenada, MS and Maggie White (Bill) of Tupelo, MS. He is also survived by one niece and five nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
