He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Oweda Thompson Bailey; and his siblings, Cathron Neal, Leroy Bailey and James Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Bailey; his children, Vivian Craig (Kevin) of Grenada, Laura McCain (Cliff) of Oxford, Bob E. Bailey, Jr. (Sheila) of Grenada and George Bailey (Kellye) of Grenada; his siblings, Dorothy Moore of Leflore, Lallie Fly of Holcomb and John Robert Bailey of Grenada; and his grandchildren, Andy Bailey, Betsey Bailey, Amanda Gunn, Vance Welch, Hunter Craig, Haley Middlebrook, Jack Thomas Willis, Hannah Wilson, Rob Houston Bailey, Holland Bailey, Trey Bailey, Bailey Welch and Jack Willis. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
