He is survived by: his sons, George O. Byrd III (Laura) of Grenada, MS and Gregory S. Byrd of Grenada, MS; his grandchildren, Geoffrey D. Byrd (Mistie) of Richland, MS, Lt. Davis G. Byrd (Mallory) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Justin T. Byrd of Grenada, MS and Kristi Byrd Goss (Eric) of Cullman, AL.; his great grandchildren, Gracie Myers, Landry Myers, Lawson Byrd, Lucy Byrd, Aedan Goss, Masen Goss, Stella Byrd and Rowan Byrd; and his sister Shirley Byrd Cascio (Anthony) of Greenwood, MS.
The family requests that memorial contributions are made to Calvary Baptist Church, 4644 Billy Stone Rd., Greenwood, MS, in lieu of flowers.
