She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas W. Milner, Jr. and Eleanor Stribling Milner; and her daughter Kimberly Batey White. She is survived by : her husband Gerald "Gary" L. Batey, Jr.; her daughter Mary Elizabeth Batey; her siblings, Katherine Anderson and Thomas W. Milner III; and her stepsiblings, Cynthia Hutcherson and Joseph Melvin.
