He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lonnie Motes and Irene Motes; his wife Rosie Bradley Motes; his children, Johney Ray Motes, Jeffrey Motes, David Motes, Steven Motes (Lynda) and Kathy Kirk (Gary); his daughters-in-law, Sandra Motes and Lynn Motes; his grandchildren, Alex and Rose Marie; and his great grandchildren, Anna Rose and Larsyn. He was also cherished by grandchildren; (1) step-grandchild; (26) great-grandchildren; (2) step-great-grandchildren;(1) great-great-grandchild and (3) brothers.
