With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raiford Payne Wallace of Guntown, Mississippi, born in Independence, Mississippi, who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raiford Payne Wallace to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raiford P. Wallace, Sr. and Mary Ellen Burford Wallace. He is survived by : his wife Gatha Ruth Ferguson of Guntown; his children, Janna Fairley (Buddy) of Saltillo, Judy Murphy (Dennis) of Guntown and Joe Wallace (Kelly) of Tupelo; his siblings, Joan Walker, Frances Ewing and Jimmy Wallace; and his great grandchildren, Patrick, Matt, Chris, Josh, Tim and Thomas. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid pandemic, the family has chosen to have a private family only service on Sunday at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel.
