He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Frank "Sonny" Baswell and Clara Floyd; and his grandparents, Frank, Eviline Baswell, Willie and Lucille Floyd.

He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Baswell of Guntown; his children, Allen Baswell (Leslie) of Baldwyn, Rebekah Curry (Mark) of Baldwyn, Christy Pettigo (Stephen) of Baldwyn, David Baswell (Tia) of Baldwyn, Kaytlin Robertson of Baldwyn, Abby Baswell of Baldwyn and Bryson Baswell of Baldwyn; his stepson Brent Martin (Faith) of Pontotoc; his grandchildren, Lee Campbell, Brackins Curry, Hunter Pettigo, Sophie Pettigo, Colt Pettigo, Colby Baswell, AnnaBeth Baswell and Hazel Baswell; and his brother Bobby Baswell of Guntown. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
