He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez McKenzie and Cecil McKenzie; and his son Cecil Ray McKenzie (Nancy McKenzie). He is survived by: his sons, Johnny McKenzie (Regina) of Helena, Arkansas and Michael McKenzie (Laura) of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Jessica Hairston (Justin) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Melissa Beck (Brandon) of Hattiesburg, Michael McKenzie II (Kerry) of Hattiesburg, Samuel McKenzie of Boise, Idaho and Katie Garcia (Steve) of Ruston, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Chance Perry, Bella Beck, Rosey and Elizabeth McKenzie of Hattiesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tunnel of Towers Foundation.
