She was predeceased by : her husband Paul Douglas Smith; and her parents, Willie and Lois. She is survived by : her children, Paul Smith Jr. (Janiece), Tara Godbold (Benji) and Janopy Metzger (JP); her grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Abby Cantrelle, Josh Smith, Shelby Smith, Kristopher Davis, Madison Godbold, Emilee Metzger, Evie Metzger and Danika Metzger; her great grandchildren, Lane Smith, Matthew Smith, Jacob Smith, Arthur Cantrelle and Valerie Cantrelle; and her siblings, Alison Boleware (Steve) and Gary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and Nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (805 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Moore Funeral Service - Hattiesburg (805 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at the Highland Cemetery.
