Peggy Sue Sanford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Sue Sanford of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Claude Shelton Creel; and her siblings, Jim Creel and Tammy Rutland. She is survived by: her husband Bill Sanford of Hattiesburg; her children, Andrew Sanford of Hattiesburg and Mallory Broom of Hattiesburg; her mother Veta Mae Green Creel of Columbia; and her siblings, Prentiss Creel of Columbia, Jessie Creel of Columbia, Tim Creel (Becky) of Columbia, John Creel of Columbia and Debbie Reed (Jay) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church (1734 US-98, Foxworth, MS 39483). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery (1734 US-98, Foxworth, MS 39483).
