He was predeceased by : his parents, John Earl and Willie Mae Allen; and his former life partner Mary Allen. He is survived by : his wife Mary Graham Stanford; his children, Tim Allen (Andrea) of Burnsville, NC, Scott Allen of Florida and Angela Stephenson (R. J.) of Slidell, LA; his sister Sandra Fender of Morganton, NC; his grandchildren, Austin Stephenson (Kayla) of Purvis, Mason Stephenson (Courtney) of Slidell, LA, Isaac Allen (Lauren) of Manning, SC and Peyton Allen of Burnsville, NC; his great grandchildren, Mary Katherine Stephenson, Barrett Stephenson and Wesson Stephenson; and his pet Molly.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:40 PM at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home (805 Hardy St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (3401 W 7th St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
