He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim McKinney and Bessie McKinney; his grandchildren, Maliyah Elliott and Davian McKinney, Sr.; and his siblings, James McKinney, Robert McKinney, Deborah McKinney and Elizabeth Perkins.
He is survived by : his daughter Shelita Smith (Deadrick) of New Albany, MS; his stepdaughter Sharonie Malone of Holly Springs, MS; his son Albert McKinney of Champaign, IL; his siblings, Irene Mayfield of Holly Springs, MS, Ethel Raimey of Holly Springs, MS, Deloise White of Holly Springs, MS, Ida Payne (Ricky) of Holly Springs, MS, Lisa McKinney of Holly Springs, MS and Michael Perkins (Lora) of Holly Springs, MS; his close friend Teressa Johnson of Champaign, IL; and his friend Edgar. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
