He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Gipson, Sr. and Melan Jones Gipson; and his wife Maxine Luellen Gipson. He is survived by : his children, Clifford Gipson (Gwen), James Tyronne Gipson (Debra), Charitia Gipson and Cameka "Tonia" Woods; and his siblings, Winston (Janice), Hermon (Liz), Sherman LaShalle Havery (Carol), Leora Glendel Alleda (Jessie) and Laura. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
