She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris Wooldridge Kellum and Howard Kellum; her husband Robert Melton; and her siblings, James, Charles, Gary Kellum, Colleen Smith and Bobbie Nell Pumphrey.

She is survived by : her children, Angela Williams (Rut) of Aberdeen, Pam Hicks (Jeff) of Houston and Hugh Melton (Amber) of Southaven; her grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Brooke Martin (Sean), Kaylee Anderson, Fisher Melton and Caden Melton; and her great grandchild Snow Angel Martin. She is also survived by loving mother and grandmother not only to her family but also many "adopted" family members.
