He was predeceased by : his parents, James Carel Heair and Maggie Irene Smith Heair; and his daughter Barbara Taylor. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Evelyn Baird Heair of Houston; his children, James Heair of Houston, Larry Heair (Sandy) of Houston, John Heair (Kim) of Houston, Stephen Heair (Tricia) of Houston, Carolyn Watson (Sammy) of Houston, Donna Byars (Tommy) of Houston and Lola Simpson (Bradley) of Houston; and his sister Josie Smith of Pontotoc. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, his 27 great-grandchildren, and his 1 great-great grandchildren.
