He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Earl and Frances Mosley Gilder; and his brothers, Bob Gilder and Earl Gilder. He is survived by : his wife Prudy Faye Denton Gilder of Houston; his children, Angie Ritchey (Ken) of Hattiesburg, Sonya Gilder Boyd of Starkville and Jeffrey Macon Gilder, Jr. (Stephanie) of Hernando; and his grandchildren, Philip Ritchey, James Ritchey, Coleman Gilder, Anna Macon Gilder, Carter Denton Boyd and Caylie Brooke Boyd.
