He was predeceased by : his parents, James Sydney Griffin and Mildred Helen Easley Griffin; and his siblings, J. W. Griffin, John Griffin, Avery Griffin, Fletcher Griffin and Dora Griffin.
He is survived by : his siblings, Pauline Brassfield of Houston, Dorothy Walls, Kay Martin (John T.) of Houston and Nelson Griffin of Houston.
