She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Hartford Sr. and Sallie Fluker Rush; her husband Albert Ford "Junior" Carter; her children, Howard "Sonny" Warbington and Delmarie Carter Lillis; and her grandchildren, Carter Lillis and Sunnie Danyell Lillis.

She is survived by : her grandson Quinton Lillis of Wade, MS; and her great grandchildren, Sunnie of Wade, Paisley of Wade and Brady Lillis of Wade.
