She was predeceased by: her husband John Junior McAnally; her parents, Arthur James and Ruth Skinner James; her grandson Gary George; her son-in-law David Bonds; and her siblings, Temple James, Rassie James, Boyce James, Elmer James, Charles James, Bessie Kelley, Josephine McVay, Frances McAnally, Edna Moss and Thelma Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Bonds, Jennie Gross (Jimmy) and Charles "Buddy" McAnally (Donna); her sister-in-law Nettie Smith; her grandchildren, Sonni Hodge (Mike), Beau Gross (Allison), Devin Dickey (Heather), Phillip Lewis (Amy), Anna Kessler (David), Sandy Wyers (Adam), Brandon McAnally (Paula) and Ben McAnally (Anna Reid); her great grandchildren, Amy, Heather, Anna Claire, Caroline, Mary Houston, Layla, Witt, John Arthur, Reese, Ellie, Makayla, Madison, Sophie, Macie, Charlie, Julie, Assie and Sloan; her great great grandchildren, Foster, Easton and Addie Grace; and her close friend Dawn Lester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hurtleen's honor to the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo or to the Iuka church of Christ.
