It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Day (Iuka, Mississippi), who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Day and Berma Day; his son Douglas A. Day; and his great grandchild Joseph Gabriel Young. He is survived by: his wife Peggy R. Monroe Day; his children, David L. Day (Gwen) and Linda C. Thoren (Craig); his brothers, Ted E. Day (Cathi) and Ronnie W. Day (Alice); his grandchildren, Scotty Young (Rachel), Jeremiah Partee (Linsey), Jamie Day (Sandy), Carrie Seahorn (Chris), Michael Day (Whitney), Casey Thoren (Karli) and Errin Day (Ashley); and his daughter-in-law Stacy Day. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
