She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Rhodes; her parents, Saul Highland and Loney Haynes Highland; and her siblings, James Highland (Lila), Porter Highland (Bea), Jordan Highland, William Highland (Aline), Pearl Barrett (Franklin), Christine Cooper (Willard), Emer Gene White (Alvie) and Mary Coggin (Charlie).
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruby Brown, Betty Quillen and Ann Wiley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
