He was predeceased by: his parents, James Green and Nelda Whitaker Green; and his stepson Rickey Monroe Humphries. He is survived by: his wife Allegra Burks Green; his stepgrandson Rickey Humphries (Dana Cole); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elaina Day Humphries and Bradley Monroe Humphries; his brother Jim Green (Linda); his niece Tammy Aldridge; and his nephews, Sean Green and Paul Michael Green.

Donations may be made in Robert's honor to St. Jude's or the donors charity of choice.
