It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Newton Catledge (Jackson, Mississippi), born in Tutwiler, Mississippi, who passed away on April 11, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Oraien, Sr.; his wife June Stellwagon Catledge; and his brother Sonny Catledge. He is survived by: his parent Alma Louise Collins Catledge; his daughters, Lisa Catledge of Jackson, Julie Stoshak (Jim) of Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte Randall (Paul) of Bangor, ME and Laney Catledge (Sean Callaway) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Reese Dueringer, Cole Dueringer, Jenson Stoshak, Jake Stoshak and Jaedon Stoshak; his stepgrandchildren, Whitney Walker and Lindsay Randall; his great grandchildren, Finnley and Eliott; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elena, Leah and Jameson; his nephew Philip Catledge; and his granddaughter Olivia Gilmore. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many, many friends.
