It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Ruth Dear (Jackson, Mississippi), born in Learned, Mississippi, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Strong and Eunice Ester Strong; and her husband O. J. Dear, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet McKell (William) and Tammie Pickering (Lance); and her grandchildren, Ryan McKell, Anna McKell and David Pickering.
