He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Troutman); his daughters, Ann Rigney (James) and Amy Adams (Rick); his grandchildren, Amy Cockroft (Sam), Ford Rigney (Summer), Brantley Adams (Erin) and Millie Baker (Camden); his brother Norris Wallace (Ginny); and his great grandchildren, Reed and Mary Bishop Cockroft.
