He was predeceased by: his father Grover Layfette Rigdon. He is survived by: his wife Mona Rigdon; his mother Nina Rigdon; his children, Wendi Oliver (Reggie) and Matthew Rigdon; his grandson Bastian Sims; his brothers, Tim Rigdon and Tracy Rigdon; and also Katy Sims. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests be made to Blair E. Batson Children Hospital.
