He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leslie Wakins Sr. and Lorena Curry Watkins; his brother George Leslie "Beaver" Watkins; his granddaughter Lady Priscella Rollins; and his brother-in-law Bruce Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Latham Watkins; his children, Jamie Shane Watkins, Roby Kevin Watkins, Donna Watkins Rollins (Pat), Robin Douglas (Jack) and Sharon Luina (Johnny); and his sisters, Marie Davis, Wilma Rickles (James) and Elaine Reynolds (Jimmy). He is also survived by Six Grandchildren; Six Great Grandchildren.
