He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Shropshire Browne of Kiln; his children, David Browne (Amy) of New Orleans, Kevin Browne (Yuko) of Kofu and Amanda Browne Connolly (Tim) of New Orleans; his grandchildren, Harry, Grant, Hunter, Noah Browne, Finn, Ryan, Remy Connolly and Gigi Browne; and his brother Joseph Emanuel Browne Jr. (Beth) of New Orleans. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
