She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Melcher and Ramie Rebecca Flynn Melcher; her daughters, Violet Rushing, Margie Louise Collier and Lucille Collier; and her siblings, Mildred Burden, Louise Lawrence, Richard Melcher, Jessie Ramage, Estelle Black, Jimmie Nell McCool, Betty Simmons and Freddy Melcher.
She is survived by: her sister Elouise Hurta of Kosciusko, MS; and her grandchildren, Ricky Harrell and Donna Jean. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
