It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Leon Darden of Kreole, Mississippi, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Darden and Myrtis Iris Butler; and his siblings, Sandra Murphy and William "Billy" Jewell. He is survived by: his brother Rickie Darden (Mary); his sibling's children, Steve Figueiredo (Nikki), Rachel Montgomery (Terry), Brandon Figueiredo (Courtney) and Jason Darden; and his friend Renee Boyd. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
